What are we doing?

The Mensline Australia’s Changing for Good program will continue. This is a free voluntary program to help men stop using violence in their families and relationships.

The program provides access to specialist counsellors, works with men to identify and work towards their individual goals, and supports them to access additional services.

  • The Commonwealth Government will provide $2.6 million between 2019–20 and 2021–22 to fund Changing for Good.

What have we achieved so far?

In 2018-19, 428 clients participated in the Changing for Good program, attending over 1,700 sessions.

What is next?

  • Changing for Good is funded until 30 June 2022.

What difference will we make?

The intended outcomes of this program are that people who use violence access supports and services, implement self-management techniques, and change their behaviour.
