2015-16 Annual Progress Report

The 2015-16 Annual Progress Report of the Second Action Plan 2013-2016: Moving Ahead has been released.

Over the past 18 months, there have been unprecedented levels of commitment by all Australian governments and the broader community to achieve a significant and sustained reduction in violence against women and their children.

This is the final progress report for the Second Action Plan. It outlines the vast amount of work and achievements undertaken during 2015-16 under the five national priority areas. The Report was endorsed by Commonwealth, state and territory Ministers responsible for the implementation of the National Plan.

The Second Action Plan is part of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022.
